[size=13pt]2 Smartphones in the last 2weeks. 7smarthphones all this year. The chinese phones keep impressing me daily. am wowed.[/size]

From my first Impressed Chinese Phone Gionee E3 -> Elephone p2000 -> UMI C1.

Last upper week i sold my ELEPHONE P2000 and after several contemplation i settled for the UMI C1.


Lets begin the review.

I have to note that on this i was very skeptical after my last phone ELEPHONE P2000 which claimed to be 2650Mah. so i gave this a trial and i am satisfied. It comes with a 2430mAh battery.
Phone was 50% charged after 4hours of usage it reduced to 23%. see below

In conclusion the UMI C1 at the price of 26500 (With DHL shipping included ) is a good deal.

I wil change this phone when i get a good phone with nice specs and better price next. I am timing the ELEPHONE P3000 (Snapdragon, Cyanogen Mod, 20 Mpx back + 13Mpx front, 3G ram , 32GB inbuilt Memory card 5.5" arounf $230 i cant wait.)

Its a clone of the Elephone p2000 only battery improvement that of which I was skeptical off.

So in terms of performance, the 2430mah battery of UMI C1 is better than the Elephone P2000 which has a battery of 2650mah?

Can't disregard your opinion and can't take it in wholeheartedly too. Battery capacity is the best indicator of battery performance & staying power during use. Other things could have accounted for the faster draining battery of the p2000.
