Ribadu Shouldn’t Be Granted Waiver – Edwin Clark by demand1982: 1:11pm On Aug 28, 2014 |
Elder statesman and a former Minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark, has warned the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party against granting waiver to a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. Clark, at an ongoing press conference at his residence in Abuja on Thursday, said Ribadu would be used to betray President Goodluck Jonathan at the end. He said the former anti- corruption crusader was known for raising false alarm against governors elected on the platform of the party in the past while serving as the chairman of the EFCC.He said Ribadu was also involved in the impeachment of unnamed governor of the party in the past. He said, even when the President saved him from public disgrace by converting his dismissal to retirement as assistant inspector general of police, Ribadu has refused to show gratitude to the President. He therefore warned the leadership of the party against granting Ribadu any waiver to enable him contest the party’s governorship primary of the party in Adamawa State. Details later. .... www.punchng.com/news/ribadu-shouldnt-be-granted-waiver-edwin-clark/ 1 Like |

Ribadu was never in PDP. Being an EFCC boss does not make you a member of PDP,Just like being an INEC chairman does not make Jega a PDP member. Kindly take note. 2 Likes |

I'm not dazed by Ribadu's defection to PDP and I'm surprised that he's on his way to meet with the same people he sent to jail or once indicted like Bode George,Fani Kayode, Fayose, Igbinedon, Borisade, and Alao Akala. That's politics for you. He too was betrayed by Tinubu and other Defunct ACN bigwigs during 2011 Presidential election. Even lost in Lagos State where ordinarily he was expected to win. In politics, there's no permanent friend nor foe but permanent interest. Nigerian Youth should wise up and stop insulting one another on social media. Our disunity is what is giving politicians upper hand over us. When Jonathan wants to give out government contract, he gives it out to the ex militants at the detriment of the people of Niger- Delta. When Northern Governors want to give out government contract, they give it out to few political elite at the expense of the vastly populated Almajiris. PDP and APC are conglomeration of oppressors, exploiters and subjugators. Let's stop discussing about politicians and focus on developmental issues that willbenefit the East, West, North and South. God bless Nigeria! Mind you, I stand to be corrected! 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Nigerian politicians are the worst politicians on earth. If Ribadu was d EFCC chairman then, was it not on d consideration of him being a PDP member he was appointed by OBJ? What edwin clark meant is that Ribadu would have turned his eyes away to corrupt PDP governors then as against doing the job he was appointed to do. If a man like Edwin Clark who was a delegate at d just concluded national Confab could reason like this at his age, nigeria is forever doomed. 12 Likes 1 Share |
