ABUJA 'Computerized' Vehicle Road Worthiness Check'- Another Scam? by Nobody: 10:33am On Aug 29, 2014
The transport secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja says it has concluded plan to begin what it call ' computerized road worthiness check on vehicles plying the federal capital territory. According to them, private cars will pay N2,250 every year to have their vehicles checked. Two centers have been set to carry out the computer checks at more than N500,000,000.00. It is not clear if this is another ploy aimed at draining the masses financially. Earlier this year a court in Abuja had declared as illegal a park and pay project embarked upon by the same FCT. It is not clear how the residents will swallow this bitter pill. More money from the people's pocket!
