These pictures are about 3yrs old pictures, why not show the recent state of some those roads and when those that have the recent pics post them here, the useless admin if this blog will not publish them becsuse of his mischievous mission. In addition, most of the roads mentioned here are federal roads that the federal government has awarded their contracts which they have started working on.Ochendo has done many roads in Aba but you refuse to allow them here if uploaded just to be deceiving the public.Again, the indiscriminate dumping of refuse and blocking of drainages is in the character of 98% of Aba residents, who are bent at frustrsting the effort of the government in cleaning up of Aba.Ochendo has performed in Abia and has our support.

It's not just Aba but all over Abia State but Ngwa land in particular. They start projects and abandon them chopping the money. It's very embarrassing. Aba smells like a rotten city. I was just there a couple months ago. The crazy thing is that they worship this fool out of fear. I wish something will happen to him, his family and cohorts. We are better off with the military in charge. At least we saw some development no matter how small. We weren't moving backwards as we are now. Umuahia is even pathetic as a state capital. Abians should wake up from their slumber. Aba is the only people that spoke up against TA and now they are being punished and terrorized. Terrorism is not just going on in the northeast. This government makes people disappear that opposes them

Governor T. A. Orji's Giant Strides in the Health Sector

Abia State, under Chief Dr. T. A. Orji (CON) has recorded glaring and tremendous impact in the area of healthcare delivery in Abia State. In all aspects of governance, his giant strides in efficient healthcare delivery stand him out. Ochendo, on coming into office, met a lot of inadequacies in the health sector and since his election in 2007, has left nobody in doubt as to his determination to reposition the health sector in Abia State.
The healthcare several award winning Governor has equipped and up-graded one hospital in every senatorial zone into a referral hospital for specialist treatments and diagnosis. His administration has undertaken a massive re-equipping and modernization of the Amachara General Hospital as the pilot hospital for Abia Central Senatorial Zone and the Abia State University Teaching Hospital Aba to serve the people of Abia South Senatorial Zone, while the Umunnato General Hospital is to serve as the Specialist Hospital for the Abia North Senatorial Zone.

Governor T. A. Orji, uncomfortable with the trend of Nigerians travelling as far as India for healthcare delivery, has also acquired the defunct gigantic Alaoma Hospital at Aba Road in Partnership with an Indian Consortium, ME-CURE, with the intention to make it one of the best referral diagnostic centres in the country: and in the two major cities of Aba and Umuahia, the two diagnostic centres planted by the Governor, have helped to reduce the cost of efficient health care, thereby making healthcare services affordable to all. This Abia Diagnostic Centres installed with state-of-the-art equipments for easy and early detection of causes of ailments especially in areas of renal diseases, have been termed 'Ochendo Wonder'.

In the rural communities, the state government complementing the Federal Government to ensure the attainment of the Millennium Development goals, has built and equipped over 300 Health Centres in various villages across the state. The Ochendo government has distributed ambulances to the various Local Government Areas in Abia State to aid in conveying pregnant rural women to the nearest hospital to guarantee safe delivery and this outstanding achievements by the Governor aimed at improving the performances of healthcare practitioners and the reduction of infant and maternal mortality rate in the State actualizing the MDG 5, has brought Abia to limelight hence, Abia state being adjudged the best performing State in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals - Conditional Grant Scheme (MDG-CGS).
In addition, Ochendo has also undertaken massive refurbishing and expansion works at the School of Health Technology, Aba, the School of Nursing, Umuahia and the Uzuakoli Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre. Recently, Ochendo added more health facilities to the numerous ones he had already built. Dialysis centre and Eye centre have been added to the Ultra-modern Specialist Hospital, thereby creating a full medical complex where citizens can receive quality medical service of International Standard. It has always been the dream of Ochendo to make available in Abia State, the same medical services that Nigerians seek in foreign lands in what has become a phenomenon of medical tourism.
Nevertheless, it is worthy of note that Governor T. A. Orji is the first Governor to be accorded for his 100% implementation of the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS). He has also ensured that the payment of all arrears of salaries owed Doctors in Abia State are paid. To further enhance the activities of Doctors in Abia State, Ochendo donated a brand new Toyota high roof 16-seater commuter Bus to the Abia State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). He has also approved a parcel of land in the state capital for the erection of a secretariat for the Nigerian Medical Association.
Moreover, as part of Governor T. A. Orji's effort to prevent the spread of Ebola virus to Abia State, measures have so far been put on ground to tackle the epidemic; chief of which is the provision of all the necessary requirements to the state chapter of Medical and Health workers union for the organization of workshops and seminars for its members to educate them on the preventive measures for the dreaded disease.
Commending Ochendo for providing insight to sensitive health issues and having motivated action in the right direction, numerous groups and associations have applauded the Governor's giant strides in the healthcare sector and as an icing on the cake, the body of Nigerian Student Doctors in the country under the umbrella of Nigerian Medical Students' Association (NiMSA), had presented to the world, His Excellency, Chief Dr. Theodore Ahamefule Orji (CON) as their NiMSA Personality Health Icon and has gone ahead to make Ochendo-Abia, their National Patron having been satisfied of the Governor's enviable efforts and second to none glaring achievements in the State. It is the same evidential transformation of the health sector that prompted the Nigerian Optometric Association (NOA) to recognize Governor Orji and honour him with the Award of Prime Ambassador of Health at the 37th AGM/Scientific Conference of NOA.

Ochendo is, no doubt, one of the best Governor's in Nigeria because he has kept his promise of giving Abia State a facelift with his "Legacy Projects" (‪#‎Legacies‬) aimed at laying a solid foundation for the massive improvement of Abia state, therefore, conferring on His Excellency, Chief Dr. T. A. Orji (Ochendo-Global), with the prestigious National Honours Award of Commander of the Order of Niger (CON), is not just the addition of another feather to the already filled cap of the Abia State Governor but indeed, an honour, very well deserved.
