Goodluck has tried. I only wish he could properly handle insecurity too. It's not funny having development but without peace of mind to enjoy the development. I wouldn't mind seeing a new person from any party. Hopefully a new face would come with new ideas. My opinion.

To be honest,dis great Man haven't given Nigeria a 100% but hey,dis Man is d best president Nigeria has ever had....he myt av struggled to keep dis nation togeda but he's doin it d ryt way...Not many pple can take all d struggles goin on presently in d country but he's tryn his vri best to put everytin in place...if we had no boko-haram,am very sure we wuld av gone very far in dis great Nation! Jonathan is the worst Presidentin the history of Nigeria. I'm very disappointed in the man. I don't know of any sector that is working in Nigeria. It is only on papers that he has achievements or maybe in sharing money with Dangote and other bilionaires.

1) He inherited a great power innovation from Obasanjo of which the entire equipments needed for power generation had been procured and several power stations at various stages of completion. That was 7 years ago. Today power remains a dream across Nigeria.

2) The prices of all food items have increased by more than 200%. When his regime assumed power a bag of rice was 5000 Naira but today it is 13,000. This is same for tomoatoes, pepper, onions, beef and every food item.

3) Fuel was 65 Naira per litre when he assumed office which he later increased to 97 Naira. At 65 Naira in other regimes amount paid on subsidy was less than 200billion per annum but with the increase of pump price by 32 Naira which should have reduced the amount paid on subsidy, it rather catapulted to 1.1 trillion per annum.

4) With the rate of kidnapping, robbery and terrorism it is obvious that the general security in Nigeria has deteriorated since Jonathan became President. He has persistently been accused by deposed Henry Okah as the mastermind of the 1st terrorism bomb attack on October 1st 2010.


5) All the roads in Southeast and South-south are in pitiable condition. In fact the only good federal road which is the Owerri/Onitsha road was inherited by him 98% completed. The rest have either been abandoned or are at snail pace till today.

Don't bother yourself, people observe abd appreciate the great GEJ.
Dont judge the feeling of the Nigerian masses by the few inconsequential GEJ haters on nairaland. They are are so outnumbered.
