Getting Reliable Hosts For Your Blog/website by AntiCyberBully(f): 12:06pm On Sep 01, 2014
Hello bloggers in the house.

I'm quite new to blogging and I'll be very grateful if I can get answers to some of the questions I have here.

First, I want to use a custom domain (.com) rather than (..com). So my question is, if I register a domain name with a registrar and open a blog with this name, does the registrar become my blog host or blogger (Google) still remains the host?

Secondly, if the registrar is the host, how do I get a reliable one (registrar). What are the challenges you face with your blog hosts?

Does anyone use namecheap.com registrar and how reliable is it?

I'll really appreciate helpful comments from experienced bloggers.

Welcome aboard

1.) Google remains your host
2.)As for this, you can't use a Web host on blogger except on other blogging platforms like WordPress, joomla.........

Thank you for your reply. But I can still use my custom domain on blogger right?
I'll still check out WordPress and Joomla. I thought Joomla was for full website. Can it be used to design something interactive like a blog?
