WAEC reported this year’s result as the worse. Are we surprised? It’s not a premonition but Next year’s result would be worse if we don’t address the fault. Besides what do we expect when our television programs has nothing to offer our kids. Maltina dance all, Nigerian Idols, Mtn Project fame, Who wants to be a millionaire, Gulder Ultimate search to name a few are what they are interested in etc

Has there been any program where they is an award for academic excellence? But personally I don’t think I above aforementioned are close to the cause anyway. Let’s take a look at our phone technologies. Every kid owns a phone, and not just any phone but sophisticated ones.

There is so much to do online and these things gets the kids occupied so much he/she hardly has time to study. All those putting the blame on teachers should please stop. Phones are distraction in our generation, believe it or not. Even for the adults, talk less of the students.
