Naijazoom: which do you prefer?there is no 'or'. it is more of an 'and'. the two are used together, so you have to learn them both. |

You can not compare those two, there are two different things with different functions... there is no PHP without html, html is the basis for anything you are creating on web... 1 Like |

HTML is the basis for everything you find on the web but it is pretty limited in what it can do. At the core, HTML can only serve static content and that is it, languages like PHP, Ruby, Python, Javascript, asp.net etc. only serve to enhance HTML beyond it's basic capabilities. HTML alone: Lex Luthor - pretty formidable HTML + PHP: Lex Luthor + Braniac - armageddon doesn't properly describe this. |

Html is a markup language. Php on the other hand is a programming lang. Without html, dere z no php... Lemme use dis opportunity 2 ask my forefathers, is python better than php for web development  |
