It is a pity, students that suffered from govt “I don't care” strikes (ASUU 6months, Asup 11months, coeasu 6 months) will come out vote for the same govt. It is sad Nigerians that protested during subsidy increase/scandal, even those effected by insecurity (boko haram, kidnaps, robberies etc) will forget all due to tribalism or bigotry and vote the same govt back, so that they(we) will suffer another 4 yrs of bad Leadership. Nigerians that lost sons/daughters, relatives during the ever occurring medical staff strikes will vote death back because of money on election day. The average nigerian civil servant will go out to vote a govt that plans to sack thousands of workers with its anti-peoples policy of scrapping over 55 agencies (be assured it will happen if they win a 2nd term), not forgetting NNPC staffs that donated millions to TAN, your jobs too are not secured, with FGs plan to sell all refineries. Finally the security services, for peanuts on elections day, you will help a govt that has neglected you, left you bare-handed with little to no equipment to do your jobs, with zero welfare or other benefits, with the death of your friends and colleagues meaning nothing to them, yet you will maim, commit atrocities and do what ever it takes it see they return to power so that you can eat for a day or two. Nigerians are after a leader who think and see beyond his limited geo-political zone and social environment, a leader who is prudent and incorruptible, a leader who is mentally and physically capable of re-engineering the nation to the right direction. Buhari's cries dogs and baboons, the next time he chides FG for killing BH members, a few days later BH appoints him as their chief negotiator with Govt. Atiku promised to make the country ungovernable. Northern elders are happy, BH is "embarrassing" GEJ even if its happening at the expense of human lives in the north. In life you don't expect to find things straight or simple, the so called “Northern” haters of GEJ should be expected, he should have dealt with them, arrest financiers, don't associate with suspects and have a workable plan. In gej 3 yrs he hasn't shown commitment to deal with his ”so called” detractors, I hope he isn't waiting for them to tire. When you have a problem solve it. We must rescue our country from leaches and parasites, from vagabonds in power & from barbarians at the gate. this is our time to do what is right for Nigeria, this is our moment to save Nigeria,Let us seize it & make Nigeria great. We speak of a New Nigeria that can truly be called a federal republic practising a federal system & not a unitary system. where other arms of govt are truly independent and where the rule of law reigns supreme. We speak very expectantly of a New Nigeria where no child will be left behind and education will be a right and not a privilege and where being shoeless will no longer mean being clueless. |

bappahman: every leader/govt in the world has detractors, ppl aiming to bring the govt down or paint the govt black with only the magnitude that varies, it is the responsibility of the leader/govt to stop and find solution to that problem or move..Rigging is only possible when nigerians refuse to go out and vote, therefore giving PDP the space to vote for themselves through rigging.If Nigerians stop unknown people from hanging around polling units, ballot snatching will be no more, when communities organize & participate in all the stages of electioneering,their votes will count, & the lives will change for the better.PDP can't continue to do the same bad things always & expect the suffering masses to keep on supporting them. We need to vote out these greedy politicians that lack wisdom and capacity to take us & Nigeria forward. Nigerian masses must show them that we can change the game with our voting power.
