There are over 127 million active GSM subscribers in Nigeria and the ARPU averaging N936 according to the latest report of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Over 25 per cent of these subscribers can spend as much as US$10 monthly to view Nollywood movies on their smart phones and tablets and that will be over US$250 million monthly and US$3 billion annually in Nigeria alone. And there are more than twice more viewers of Nollywood movies in other countries in Africa and the Diaspora where there are over 100 million potential viewers of Nollywood movies. Therefore, we can estimate that Nollywood movies can generate over US$7 billion annually.
How can this be done?
The following well researched facts and figures by proven sources on global mobile market trends are enough for any serious producer and distributor to calculate and estimate the worth of Nollywood movies online in the global village.

This is pure conjecturing...

... and it is a terrible way to make a claim that desires to be taken seriously. OP has let his imagination run amok even when there is no evidence to back all this up.

Here is a guide so next time when you attempt another research your results will be taken seriously. http://www.richmond.gov.uk/research_proposal_guide.pdf

I was paid US$100 by an American company for only 18, 000 views of the video the company put on my blog and that US$100 is for a fraction of the revenue the company made from the adverts in the video. And that same video was shared on over 100, 000 websites and many of them have more traffic than my blog.
One of them had over 1 million views of the video. So, if I was paid US$100 commission for only 18, 000 views of adverts in a video, how much will 1, 000, 000 views earn? And how much did the company make before paying a fraction as commission?
