“I love you too Stephen, i do but i ..” I was saying when he closed my mouth with another kiss.

When the second kiss was over, he said “I am afraid whatever you wanted to say would hurt me. Please leave things the way they are”.

It was my turn to initiate the kiss and i didn’t disappoint.
I just took a leaf from him and closed his mouth with mine and from there, things started to happen.

While we kissed, her right hand gently massaged my back and slowly moved down to my soft buttocks. My right hand also rubbed his left thigh and mysteriously moved to his already standing manhood. We touched and massaged each other gently until his hand found the top of my womanliness, then i slowly lay on my back and allowed him to be the man.

Stephen rubbed the top of my vagy and eventually started unzipping my jean trouser while i lay on my back and moaned.

It was difficult to tell what happened but we ended up making love right there in my room and the scary part of it all was that we didn’t use a protection; there was no condom.

“What if i get pregnant?” I had asked after sleeping with Stephen.
He didn’t answer that question. I wasn’t going to believe him if he had lied that he would marry me if i got pregnant. As a teenage Edo girl, i had heard such lies unaccountable times back in secondary school.
Men were almost the same everywhere in Africa. It wasn’t such a big deal to know that a man who could not support himself, would be committing suicide if he attempted to marry a girl, even if he got her pregnant.
That was where we girls were expected to help ourselves as well.

Before sleeping with a man without condom, we were supposed to find out if the man could take responsibilities of being a father if anything happened. But we African girls were too blinded to plan even for ourselves. We depended on a God who asked us not to even attempt having such intimate relationship.
Yes, while committing that act, we always hoped that God would not allow us to get pregnant or to contact disease.
It was the height of stupidity. We were supposed to take care of such things by ourselves because we already knew that a girl of certain age could get pregnant without condom. But we were too lazy to think or do things for ourselves. That was the actual reason why we depended on native doctors, witch doctors, prophets and Churches to solve our problems and at the end of the day, these criminals end up taking our wealth and giving us nothing in return.

“Stephen did you hear what i just asked?” I said to him again.

“Yes. I don’t know. I guess you will have to give birth to the child” he murmured.

What?.

“Are you serious Stephen? Who will take care of the baby?” I almost shouted.

He asked me to calm down and not to make so much trouble out of what i wasn’t sure would happen.

We ended up not speaking to each other for the rest of his stay in my room until he announced that he was leaving.

Pozzallo wasn’t a big city, just a beautiful big town on the Southern coast of the large Island.
We were allowed to go out to the town and look around but were warned to always return before 6pm every evening.
From the rumor i heard outside the temporal camp, the idea to allow us to go out was to encourage us to leave the town or the Island entirely and travel to the mainland Italy and outside Italy as well.
Yes, the European Union Authorities knew about the plan.
The Italians had been complaining over how they were the only Country with the largest number of immigrants from Africa and the Middle East.
The Tiny Island of Malta which was situated between middle East and Italy was small and could not sustain the large influx of immigrants.
As a result, the Maltese government had secured their waters in a way that they would encourage and even escort some immigrants towards Italy.
Greece on the other hand had been having difficulties in sustaining their own people let alone sustaining immigrants.

Greece had thousands of inhabited Islands but immigrants usually left them as soon as they showed up.
The Country didn’t care. The neighboring Turkey which wasn’t even in the European Union was better.
Greece was supposed to be the gateway from the Arab World to Europe but the European union Authorities barricaded the borders to keep the sub Human beings out of their golden zones.

It was even more difficult to get to Italy from Greece. The entire zone was one big confusion that people who were in Greece attempted to go over to Austria and Germany by using the black Sea which meant going back to Turkey.

Two days after we arrived to Pozzallo, i met again with Ayo and Tricia. They were close to my room but we never knew until that evening.

“What are we supposed to do from now?” Ayo had asked.
She said she heard that a few people had left the camp and that the authorities were not even searching for them.
That was how i came to know that we were encouraged to leave the camp.
It was time to call Aunty Philo with the phone number i was given in Libya.

“Maybe i should call my Aunty and see if she could come and pick all of us up here” I said.

They both encouraged me to make the call and as a result, we all decided that we would do that the next day.

“What about that Ghana boy?” Tricia had asked.

I pretended not to have heard her but when she repeated what she said, i turned around and said “What about him?”.

Tricia said she saw how i slept on his shoulders during our journey to Italy and how we looked at each other during one of the interviews.

“Nothing much is between us. Just that we were put in the same place inside the boat” I lied.

I didn’t know if they believed me or not but after sleeping with Stephen without protection, i had been having double minds whether i was comfortable with him or not. It had occurred to me that he was not capable of taking care of himself let alone a full grown girl like me and a baby.
It was all a mistake sleeping with him but there was nothing i could do at that stage. Nothing

I don't do things because people do it.
I write my own laws.

I understand your concern but I will open up my website when I want.

Season 1 to 7 is open. This new story is also open for now.
Maybe when it Kicks off with fast pace and Suspense, you pay 200 to read.

Linda Ikeji is a copy and paste blogger.

I am writing my own things from my head.
Nobody can sue me. Like Ikeji.
