She was born on 23rd July 1976, in Hungary. With an IQ of 170, she is the strongest female chess player in history. She achieved the title of Grand-master when she was 15 years old and was the youngest to do so until then. She is the only
woman to have won a game from a current world number one player and has defeated former
world champions in either rapid or classical chess.
Her childhood went through a lot of struggle and chess as a specialized subject. Her father used to believe that if trained properly, anyone could be
a genius in any subject. Believing in her father, Judit fought with the Hungarian chess committee
as women were not allowed to play with men.
Based on similar grounds, she was not given the title of grandmaster even being nominated many
times.
With 2 sisters in her life, her childhood went under complete specialisation of chess with them
as her father appointed them for home schooling.

Judit was not the sister with the most talent, explaining "Judit was a slow starter, but very hard-working." Polgár described herself at that age as "obsessive" about
chess. She first defeated an International Master, Dolfi Drimer, at age 10, and a grandmaster, Lev
Gutman, at age 11.
In late 1986, ten-year-old Judit defeated 52-year- old Romanian International Master Dolfi Drimer in the Adsteam Lidums International Tournament in
Adelaide, Australia. Edmar Mednis said he played his best game of the tournament against Judit. "I
was careful in that game", he said.
"Grandmasters don't like to lose to 10-year-old girls, because then we make the front page of all the papers."
"I always say that women should have the self-confidence that they are as good as male players, but only if they are willing to work and take it seriously as much as male players" said Judith.
She has been the #1 rated woman in the world since 1989 (when she was 12 years old).
On August 13, 2014,
she announced her retirement from competitive chess.

Horayce: I really doubt Einstein had that high an IQ. I've read his biography. He was a genius but he wasn't awesome at tests.

Oahray: Who came up with these careless estimates? A standard IQ test has 200 as it's upper limit, that's why 160 can be called genius.
