Sometime ago, a friend of mine sent an impressive and expensive bouquet to a Naija babe (whom he was still toasting) on her birthday. Followed with a cake o. Maybe that was what triggered her big "NO. Cos, she pointedly refused to date him after receiving the gift. Considering that she had been showing green light before. For Naija babes, flowers are a turn off. Maybe cos when they look at the flowers, all they see is a hapless bunch of dying plants. They just don't appreciate how romantic the GESTURE is. |
