I wonder how someone's name is called equates to Respect!

I have even seen people insult their elders whilst calling dem brother X, sister Y...etc

First name basis applies in my family, like in my work place.

The desire to meddle and pick warts and holes in other people's businesses is inbred for his ilk. Just read and enjoy his 'rationalization'.
@OP: I call them by their first name(s). Now shoot me.

It may not be a big deal but I find it uncomfortable calling people that are older than me by their first names. I might give a nick name like chair or chair lady.
