Well, there are "hidden costs" there. Remember that $199 is a contract price (2 year contract) and you are obligated to pay for a data plan in the 24 month period of the contract ...

Unfortunately I cannot preorder the iPhone 6 plus cost Apple does not ship to Nigeria (too bad)

Now I have to wait till some mf ships it here at an exorbitant price

You're right. I expected more like 5 million but I guess limited supplies played a part.

Plus the fact that when preorders went live, the first 3 hours was hell for people trying to preorder. Alot had to go to bed because it was around 3am EDT (12am PST). And from what I read in many forums, when some of them woke up, they discovered that shipping dates has already slipped especially for the 6plus (3-4 weeks). And later the 6 slipped to 7-10 business days for some models and configs.

So alot have decided to purchase theirs in-store on the day of release (19th of this month).

Bros, I'd advise that you don't say things you don't know or not sure of. Since the release of the iPhone, each new release breaks sales record. Forget about arguing and do some research about it. It's a fact that they always have astronomical numbers whenever any new iPhone model is released.

Simple marketing strategy by Apple to get people to part with their cash.the company has got to keep getting income therefore it'll keep bringing products out even if its a small change. I say kudos to Apple for keeping people interested in their products, however people (esp those who cant afford) need to be careful when purchasing these things as it has a way of getting you hooked and in debt.wait a few months and the Price will drop . it'll be 6s next year for sure to sort out the bugs.
