I don't know if this has been answered before, but let me just answer five of it. The others can answer the rest. By the way, I don't think question seven is valid. We need the length of the wall too.

Anyway.

Question 2

2 - sin (2-ax)

Put u= 2-ax

I am going to regard a as a coefficient here.

Then dy/dx = dy/du x du/dx

Dy/du= -cos(2-ax) du/dx = a

Then dy/dx = -acos(2-ax)

Question 3

Cos A = 12/13

1 + tan² A = ?

But 1 + tan² A = sec² A

And sec² A = 1/cos² A

It then follows that

1 + tan² A = (13/12)²

Assign variable to invested amount at 5%. We call this x

Immediately,

5x% + 7(200 000 -x)% = 11600

Then multiplying both sides by 100 to clear the percentage sign.(also open the bracket.)

Both sides are negative. This implies booth sides are positive. Moving on. X is then isolated by dividing both sides by 2
