Our journalist are terrible. A war that has been raging in our NE for months now have not been well covered. The China abductions were fully covered by foreign media, our journalists left to regurgitate what these foreign media outlets had reported. Even in our backyard? The incompetence stench in the country has affected all facets of society. From the politicians to the army and to journalist.

With all the stories of Bobo Haram victories or Nigerian Army victories, no news media in this country has bothered to even give an illustration of the battle field. No maps, nothing, not pictures. No body embedded with the military? Where is the excellence, bravery that we so often associate with journalist?

Nigeria journalists need to start improving on their daily offerings to their customers.
