Qualifications & Experience Required for the Positions
ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS

(i) Professor (ACUTSS 07)
A good honours degree and a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and at least 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in a University or Institution of collateral status Evidence of substantial scholarly publications in reputable outlets and ability to initiate and develop courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as initiate and supervise research programmes and adequate administrative exposure are required, Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the field.

(ii) Senior Lecturer (ACUTSS 05)
Candidates should have a good honours degree and a PhD. degree in specified field of specialization plus at least five (5) years of postdoctoral full-time teaching and/or research experience in a University or comparable Institution. Ability to initiate research works and supervise postgraduate projects and evidence of adequate scholarly publications in reputable outlets are required.

(iii) Lecturer I (ACUTSS 04)
Same as in (ii) above except that the candidate should have at least three (3) years of post-doctoral teaching and/or research experience in a University or comparable Institution.

(iv) Lecturer II (ACUTSS 03)
Candidates should have a good honours degree and a LLM degree in specified field of specialization from a recognized University.

(v) Law Librarian (Librarian I) (ACUTSS 03)
Candidates should have a good honours degree in Law and a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized university with at least three (3) rears of relevant post qualification experience in an academic/research library system. Computer literacy and application of ICT to acquisition work are essential requirements.

NON-TEACHING STAFF POSITION
Works Department

Director of Works (ACUNTSS 15)
Candidates must possess a good degree in Engineering (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, registrable with COREN (Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) or Architecture registrable with ARCON (Architect Registration Council of Nigeria) with at least 10 years post qualification experience most of which must be in a University.
