My opinion...

The few Naija p-rno films I've skimmed through leave a lot to be desired. They were awful!

Some of the women's body complexions left a lot to be desired, as did their weaves. And what's up with these men wearing socks and stuff? lol

I don't think some of these Naija porn stars understand that there are certain things you don't say or do in public as a p-rn star. Save it for the studio. When I read some of their nasty, outrageous comments or see photos of their antics in nightclubs, I am appalled. Although I am not a fan of p-rnography, even I know there is a difference between classy and trashy p-rn and p-rn stars.

I remember some Naija female p-rn star bragging in an magazine interview: "Yes! I am s-x symbol. All men want to f-ck me. Chei!!! I will take all comers in all ways all places! I will take them to heaven!!!"

Uhmmm...I don't think that's a p-rn star.

And the way some of the interviewers conduct interviews with p-rn stars is sad, sad, sad! I swear. I wonder how they passed 'How To Conduct Effective Interviews 101.

If you enjoyed watching Spartacus and Game of thrones then shut your mouth.Nude scenes can't be avoided in some cases.

My opinion stands.

And Spartacus and Game of Thrones aren't considered p-rnography.

Btw...telling someone to 'shut up' is rude, just because you disagree with their opinion.

I see it as an evolution rather than a regression. Fashion evolves like any other aspect of human endeavour. It is to do with freedom of expression that have become the standard of modern societies. There was a time when religious authorities and the state regulate the way people dress, eat, speak and think, but all these has been thrown overboard. People can now express themselves however they wish to (except in extreme cases that infringe on the rights of others).

Even in Europe and the US there was a time the prevalling fashion was covering up like a nun. At that time most women in africa were going about barely covered up (topless), but today it is the reverse, most African ladies prefer to cover up while the Europeans prefer to be minimally clad. In the next century the fashion sense might change again, who knows.

About African movies, you cannot dictate the extent of how actors and actresses are covered and how much sexuality is screened, at least for legal Adults. What can be done is to protect the young by adequate censoring and categorizing of movies. That is having all the neccessary protections in place to prevent children from being exposed to indecent or violent films. As i always say, demand is the mother of supply, if there is no demand for these indecent movies and videos, the actors, producers and marketers would go burst.

HYPOCRISY, thatz the word. Produce 2 movies with the same storyline then add a sex scene to 1 and see which is gona sell most. This is Y hollywood are ages ahead of us. After some of us will go back to watch the spartacus or true blood we've finished watching. This is EVOLUTION. (Na becos say our actresses neva begin release sex tape)

As a Ghanaian I feel ashamed when I watch movies coming from that part of Africa. Mainframe movies are always on point and portray the true African heritage and history. The problem with African actors/producers is that they feel the industry is lagging behind and the modern demands should be satisfied. Bollywood is a typical example of continuous progress and promotion of decency and moral standards.

Serious regression. Look at bollywood movies. They are a joy to watch. I'd say they are on par wit hollywood. But nollywood think its all about sèx scenes and dirty crap. I wonder wen we will act a film like robocop or xmen or pompei or maleficent. Its really embarrassing dat our best action movie is STATE OF EMERGENCY

Horayce: I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed by the low level of nudi.ty the op keeps complaining about in these movies. Nigerian and Ghanian movies have a long way to go in making beautiful movies that reflect our lives(warts and all) so i really don't know what mr op is yacking about. There's not enough nu'dity/hotness for my tastes in home videos. Morality does not determine winners, our pockets do. The moment people decide to stop paying for those movies, producers would stop making/financing them, simple as that. Till then stop complaining about what u dont understand and let the market(supply/demand) do its job. You can vent ur frustration at the censors board or ignorant parents who don't understand how to configure parental controls on theire decoders grin grin grin
. There's not enough nudity/hotness fór ur taste in home videós; thank u for being REAL

nollywood is biggest error of our time. It is evil. Thats why sharia law is becoming popular. We must condem sex movie for intest of posterity. Afica my Africa. Why is your culture traded away by westerners? Our leaders who tells about moral conduct are now misleading us for urge of sex and libido. Sexual transmited disease is bane of society. When good and bad are contradicting each other, who now bear the trutn?

So sad to hear all of this. But wait a minute o- that is what Nigeria market needs. Once we stop needing this rubbish, they will adjust. The only thing we can do to change it is STOP BUYING THIS MOVIES. If 1million persons in Nigeria can take decision, it will stop.

yea, the fact is that nollywood, ghallywood now involve alot of soft porn. But does it really matter? If we correct it in our nollywood movies what of hollywood movies that are favourites to kids? Films like spartacus, games of throne etc what wil we say about them.. What of the internet that children can access pornographic films? The best thing is to occupy children with loads of house work or make them busy and preach to them to stay away from bad friends. The add a little prayer
