Between the normal engine and hybrid engine of highlander 06/07 which is one advisable to buy. What is the advantage and disadvantage of hybrib engine over normal engine. |

The Hybrid for me is a No go area, its not worth the extra savings due to fuel gain which could be blown off if the hybrid battery pack or inverter develops a mind of their own. (But thats my personal opinion though) |

OP, if you will use the car in Nigeria & you don't have a fairly big stack of cash somewhere, I DO NOT recommend buying an hybrid SUV. An hybrid SUV will give you unparalleled fuel economy but just as lomomike said when battery/electrical issues arise you may lose all your fuel savings & extra money to fix it. If fuel economy is your main concern, I will recommend the 4-cylinder Toyota highlander 07. |
