The story is written in pidgin, for no other reason (and I'm proud to say )than , pidgin remains the quickest language I can use in expression.

I needed to ease myself off the inspirations in my head, and pidgin was the only language I could run to, because I had to finish this story up in one day, because anything other than a day, then I'd have grown lackadaisical about the story, and probably wouldn't have finished it in the end. Its a short story. Although comic, but also there's a handful of lessons to learn.

Your comments as well as your criticism are welcome, but won't be a criteria for postponing the quick conclusion of the story , this means that I'd not be keeping you guys in suspense in exchange for comments, and I'll be done with this story in approximately 3 days, even if there isn't a single comment of encouragement. I'd just be satisfied with the Knowledge that someone out there enjoyed the story, because I know someone will.
What's more , the story is a work of fiction although I made use of real life references here and there. And talking about what else I made use of.

I consciously made use of what I describe as 'exaggerated realism'. Which basically means pseudo-realistic/ exaggerated descriptions of certain plots here and there, essentially for comic purposes.

As we all know pidgin english is a Language of exaggeration. "If I slap you , you go see stars!" Is an example. please don't speak pidgin to a klepto, because ,they take things literally. Lol. Just kidding.. Only intellectuals understand the above humor though.

Repitition of certain words follow the pidgin english style and tone of stressing and emphasis eg, 'cry cry' Implies someone who cries too much. Same way 'play play' implies someone who takes too many things for granted.

After a long time of coming to our School gate to come chyke/toast me , even to the Extent wey our security man warn am to stop coming to Corrupt the students. Segun still come meet me.

As I come Out from gate with my friends as usual. Na so Him come approach me, all my friends desert me, because dem dey fear am.

"Sweet girl, how are you?"

Me I reply.
"How many times have I told you to stop stalking me?"
I hala am, look am Bad eye, Him come smile.

For my mind , I take note say segun get charming smile, and E sabi dress.
"I'll stop stalking you on one condition"

"I'm not interested in your conditions."

Him smile that him ashawo smile again.

E come reply me.
"Please hear me Out first"

Out of busy body, and Impatience. I snap.
"Say whatever!"


The next thing I see , segun put hand for him pocket , and wetin come out na mobile phone. Not just a mobile phone, na correct mobile phone. Na Nokia C3.

I look segun again, weda e mean am.

After small initial gra gra, I collect the phone carry put for my Bag, after all him say na d condition for him not to dey disturb me. And I get notin to lose.

As I reach our room and parlour house for surulere . Mama no dey as usual, she don go work. I settle down to check specs and features of my new handset; (as my mama dey call am.) After small press press, To my surprise sim card dey inside. Na him I say make I enter the multimedia section. See fine fine music. From there I enter video.

Fear don full my Mind, I wan cry, for my mind , I be like "oh 'Lord, who send Me?? Oh Lord, let this Cup pass over me !"
As him dey near me, na so I just close my eyes dey expect the Beating wey go reach me.
na im I hear series of heavy roars wey dey like thunder.
For my mind I be like. "Na the Slap wey sound like that?? Which time Slap begin dey sound like that, and How come I no feel anything for my Face, abi I don die Go heaven??"

If so make I open my eye see as heaven be na, as I open my eye, na segun and two big hefty German shepherds for him left and Right I see. Omo see dogs!!!

For my mind I be like "oh thank God, at last!!"
Na so segun begin dey halla for the Taxi driver . The driver just dey beg say " Ejo ema Binu sa(abeg no vex sir)"
See fear for the Coward driver Eye.

I no blame the driver sha, those dogs Dey like Hungry lions wey resemble Dog.
At that moment I come dey so proud of this thick muscular Segun Guy. See him fine Muscle as e dey show from him Sleeveless White top.

The dogs just growl, like say dem dey talk "yes sir!!"

(Part 2)SEGUN THE COMPASS BOY_____________________________________

As I enter the Gate, the Compound neat, I see one Big flat , then a line of Boys Quarters wey dey adacent to the flat, na the First room for the Boys Quarters na im segun enter. I stand outside, him beckon on me to come inside, after some hesitation, I enter.
Mhen , the Room fine , e dey Tiled, and AC dey, Home theatre dey, freezer dey, wine chamber dey, Big samsung flat Screen Hang for the Wall, and na 60inches , The Foam dey dressed up, And the Center table get Wooden artwork.

As I stand dey look like Novice, I just dey wish say we house for surelere fit get swag like segun room,
na im segun say "baby sit down, " like robot wey dem hypnotise I just sit down. Breath in the Fresh scent of the room. This segun na real compass Boy.
Una notice say since when I know am , I don dey change direction pass Okada.

Segun just go Open freezer omo na 'The Promise fast food' bag, him withraw from the Fridge , and Guess what, as him open am the Scent of fried chicken disorganize my entire body system , I swallow. Remember say I never eat since I return from school.

Segun just arrange the full chicken inside one fancy plate wey him collect.

"Please can I have the Charger , I have to start going now"

Segun look me with one kind soft eye.

" I'll never forgive myself if I let you go like this,looking so stressed up ,and I know you must be feeling really hungry at this point. You look it already. So just take your time, eat your food, and I'll drop you off with my boss car, I don't want you to remember me as a bad guy , since its the last time you're going to see me.

As I dey chew my Chicken with Girlish integrity.

Segun just go kak dey play game for him screen touch phone.

Na so I chop chicken' chop chicken so tay, I tire .

Come drink orange juice. Come Carry the Rope wey dey there , begin floss, as I floss finish. Na him I turn to tell segun thank you.

As I turn, guess wetin I take my eyes see!!!!!!!!!

As I dey speechless dey look segun body, in shock and embarrassment, segun just casually ask me "are you thru" I wan talk , words no come out, my mouth just make movement.

(Part 3) LOVESICK_____________________________________

The Next day as I wake up, I feel pains for my head, and my Groin and thigh area, coupled with my mouth wey dey smell, as I no brush for night before I sleep.

"Omo mi, you dey well so? My Mama ask me.

"Mum, I'm not sure."

I look time , na 8 o'clock, I don late for school self.

That means tomorrow, na sunday, 6th of april, my 18th Birthday, na wa o, e no go easy.

Na so we drive go the promise, him buy salad and chicken, we drive go house , him feed me like small pikin, after I eat finish , him give me that him Banana again. You know the Kind banana na? Abi make I explain?

As we dey bed, I just whisper give am.
"Tomorrow is my birthday"

"Wow! Really??, how old would you be"

"So how's it gonna Be , a party , or something"

Sunday reach, after church me and my mama dey relax with a nigerian movie, b4 I com tell her say I wan go see nkechi , next street, na so I take taxi go meet segun. As I see am for him room, e just dey like say them fix one missing nut for my head. I just go hug am, sit down for him laps. Him just tip my nose we come laf.

"See how pretty you look wen you laf, you're such a treasure to behold, my dark beauty."

I just blush. To change topic na, I come say "I keep forgetting my phone. yesterday I forgot it again."

Segun just smile that him mischievious smile.

"Its no longer your phone."

I come dey puzzled , come reply,

Na so segun give me one parcel come order me with him rough voice.
"Open it."

As I open the Thing impatiently. I first see glittering Gold Female Wristwatch , then Necklace, then as I still dey admire that one , I still dey feel something thick and Rectangular, as I probe further . Wetin I see na Blackberry Bold 6.

That day, I give am for every where. Mouth, b**bs, p**sy, na Only yansh , I no gree give my random segun invade.

(Part 4)RENDEZVOUS____________________________________________

Na so me and Segun rendezvous turn to routine. Everyday after school , I go go take banana till I go yo, or if I no take banana , we go just dey together dey play love, or we go go eatery or segun go cook for me. See as Segun , dey happy dey pop champagne, Because doctor Tell am say I dey pregnant. E just dey jump up and Down. Dey kiss me.
While me I dey find way to tell am say, I wan comot the Pikin, say I wan Go school, and I wan enjoy my Young age.
