I am really enthused about how other tribes/ethnic groups salute themselves when they spot one another at a particular location or when they are in a group meeting.

Well I am from the Ilaje region of Yoruba and when I spot a fellow ilaje man/woman I sa (ko se gha) which means how are you. And when you see an ilaje gathering you will always observe the (Ayemafuge de de ilaje) salutation which gets a reply (Awaye).

I would like to know how you salute one another in your dialect.
Rep your dialect..

Ekiti - "In Okun o"
Or "Era"..."era aba" for elderly men

While we also use the popular standard Yoruba dialect of "Eku" prefix added with the person's activity eg. Eku'se - welldone, Eku'inawo - happy spending
