I saw an empty bottle labelled "Bio Alkaline Water" laying around in my mom's room. So I asked what's its for and she said it was medicinal, and had bought it at a health meeting.

She had attended a "free medical checkup" at Agric bus stop, Ikorodu organized by Magnetic Health Analyzer, #40, Mobolaji Bank Anthony way, Lagos. With Tel: 08029169119, 08035409085. She was 'scanned' and giving prescriptions including the bottles. They costs N500 each.

I looked at a sealed bottle of the same labeling and found particles in the water. If there are particles I can see, what about the microscopic particles? These bottles probably contains only water bottled (in unhygienic conditions) to scam labelled health-conscious lagosians.

I have warned/discourage her from using it further.

My question is why does the Government allow these textbook medics/nutritionist operate freely?

Why would a consumable carry ISO certification instead of a NAFDAC number? Plus a website that is not available?

Please someone with connections to NAFDAC should please help report and follow up this unregistered and potentially fraudulent/deadly company.
