The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, has been discharged and acquitted by Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court of alleged laundering of about N600m.

Ikuforiji’s aide, Oyebode Atoyebi was equally discharged of the same alleged crime.

The two were arraigned before the Federal High Court on June 24, 2013 on 56 counts bordering on conspiracy.

Buba, while discharging the two held that the prosecution failed to prove the allegation of money laundering preferred against them.

More details later.

When the Rich Man steal Millions..they are set free.....but when the poor/middle class steal little thousands...they are either hang..kill...or sentence to some terms in prison(and all the media house will carry the news around....even if there is little evidence..the judge will make sure that person is in the prison)
::::I thought..we humans are all the same..I wish our country will be like singapore..who treat corrupt leaders like BIG CRIMINALS

No wonder Even Our President:: Jonathan said corruption is not stealing

Is there anyone in this country who has been convicted of corruption?

This pics below shows why no one has been convicted.

The eagle which is the logo of the EFCC is asleep.

Is Mr Tinubu such an all-conquering, all-powerful super-human that he can even buy a favourable judgement in a Federal High Court that is under the control of PDP-led Federal government? People will accuse this man of every evil under the sun. O ga o!

The prosecution simply did not prove its case to the satisfaction of the judge.

That said, one cannot rule out the possibility that the accused greased the hands of the prosecutors. But please, let's leave Mr Tinubu out of this for once.

At the end of the day, nobody will be incacerated or killed. I hate nigeria judges with passion. They're not different from the Nigeria police. They collect money from both sides... the victims and the culprits.
