Martins has scored 15
goals in American MLS in
a team that Clinton
Dempsey is playing.
Meanwhile Dempsey has
score only 13 goals and
he was the arrow-head of
Team USA at the Brazil
2014 World Cup whereas
Martins was not invited.
Recently he signified his
intention to play in the
Nations Cup qualifiers if
invited but he was ignored
by coach Keshi. The
coach also ignored Ike
Uche, Abiola Dauda
(Vitesse Arhneim,
Nederlands), Kehinde
Fatai (24 year old Astra
FC Romania attacker who
has scored 8 goals in the
young season that has
only produced 8 league
matches) and Gbenga
Arokoyo ( 21 year old
Gaziantepspor, Turkey
defender who has played
3 matches out of 3 in
Turkey Super Lig where
Oboabona only played his
first match of the season
yesterday 27/09/2014.
Uwa Echiejile has only
played 1 out of 8 league
matches played by his
club, Monaco this season
and he is invited for the
qualifiers against Sudan.
Keshi should tie invitation
to performance so that
any mediocre will not
believe that come rain or
shine he will be in Super
Eagles team.
jst sayin.

Would he leave and set the kitchen ablaze and hope to have the next kitchen accept him as a cook?
Or you forget he's hoping for the best for himself and his career.

When I say you guyz only watch football with brains switched off I come out as rude.

Keshi has achieved far greater feat that not qualifying for AFCON will blot his resume. Just incase you don't know he belongs to an elite set of African coaches not up to 5 that are world cup coaches, the only coach on the continent to have qualified more than one country for world cup.

This kitchen will go ablaze cos your lots don't deserve any better

I was one of the people that criticized Keshis

I especially hate the following scenarios
1.)Yobo thinking it is an achievement to retire

2.)Mikel smiling (instead of shouting) at

3.)Osaze not protesting and getting angry with
the ref for denying him a penalty

ntyce: Keshi should have left after the world cup when the ovation was loudest but he refused.
He harassed his employers NFF to give him a new contract, telling them he had bettwr offers from other countries but alas there was no offer from other countries.

He is a scam, sack him now.
Under him, even though we won the Afcon, super eagles tactics can't be defined.
Xtian Chukwu's was even better tactically.

Ihenacho- too young
Martins - too old
Uche - proud
This same Keshi played for the eagles at the age of 18 yet he claims ihenacho is too young.

Why invite a player China when our local strikers are better.

Maybe becos a china based player is a foreign player.

Sincerely, every Nigerian player, no matter where he plies his trade deserves a chance in the SE..please give them the benefit of the doubt.

Talking of on fire striker although emenike is under-performing below our expectation then we shouldn't dragging ourselves into turmoil when we have nigeria league hot puncher SALAMI in the list.. Talking of kelechi iheanacho we should wait until he turns 18 on 28th october and signed his professional current contract with Man-City..
To me it seems that keshi has lost in desert we need another compass to lead our national team.. It is up to our dear corrupt NNF.. Up 9ja we no go gree!!!

crownprince102: Do you know?
-Sunday Emmanuel has played all together 65 minute this season in austria bundesliga with no single goal for his team.
-Anyora Ugonna has played 83 league matches norway and has never scored a goal, What a loyal Mikel's family member.
-Aaron Samuel is in top form this season at a chinese club, but I guess Nigeria division 2 is better than chinese league.
KESHI IS CONFUSED!!!
KESHI may be making some cool cash from this new boys, probably the older and in-form players don't want to pay their tithe.

Leaving the kitchen is exactly what Keshi is trying to do , but not before setting the kitchen ablaze as payment for the shoddy treatment by FA and the general ungratefulness of Nigerians as a whole ( men like u)

Keshi will leave the eagles exactly where he picked them up from........Yes, the Gutters after just failing to qualify for AFCON and with him he goes with word Eagles and replace with Chickens name he met.

Nigeria, nation of scallywags, Ignorance and Ingrates

Hahahaha. Guy you harsh o! Oga Keshi, abeg no return us to 64th in Fifa ranking o.

But you spoke some bitter truths. Nigerians always ridicule their footballers out of reckoning eventually. I've seen it happen over the years; to Yekini, Oliseh, Okocha, Aghahowa, Kanu, Yakubu, Martins, Yobo and those who went into coaching like Siasia and Keshi. No matter how many laurels they win for us, we always tag them as being thrash and usher them out unceremoniously.

It is only after they are gone that we begin to remember them with nostalgia. That is when we realize that they were useful in their time. You can imagine folks asking for the return of the same Siasia whose head they demanded for 3 years ago. Nigerians are impatient and ungrateful. Most don't even realize that football is a dynamic game. You can't win it all, players won't always be in form, even the best coaches get it wrong. That's the beautiful game.

If Keshi's contract doesn't get renewed, I can bet that 3-7 years down the line Nigerians will remember Keshi with fond memories.

There are also opportunities for World Cup star-boy Babatunde Michael, back from injury, Reading of England’s Hope Akpan and Austria –based forward Sunday Emmanuel.

Babatunde, aluko and akpan are the only 3+ives ive seen. I know aluko is a very versatile player. He can play lone man up front ( fa cup final vs arsenal) im an arsenal fan, but he scared me with d lil chances he had.

Dude, Stephen Keshi has been making good money from football since the 1980s & he's therefore not broke. Some folks just think that the rest of the world is like them!

Logically, the team list can't be put down to bribery as if this was the case, guys like Obasi, Martins etc in wealthier clubs should out-pay the new boys from Norway & China. Not to even mention our NPL's two leading strikers, Salami & Osoagona. How much will they bribe with?

To me, Keshi is an amazing manager. Stats wise, he is the best manager we ever had. He's ahead of Westerhof, Otto Gloria & Shuaibu Amodu in that order. These are the best managers who put out the best results & won things in all of national team's 70yrs existence.

What is he experimenting? did he just get the SE job yesterday? after about 3yrs, we should know our 1st eleven with our eyes closed, even the reserved.

What is the advantage of having a coach for 3yrs, if not to build a strong squad with high team spirit or chemistry, Any new players can be added to the squad gradually after the Proven ones, but Mr. Keshi keeps rebuilding for ever, and keeps inviting the funniest clowns worldwide.

For the complaint about his salary or other issues, yes he deserves to be paid and NFF will continue to be NFF, he knows this before he got the job, if he can't cope with it let him leave the stage, no excuse should be given for failure, he's got good record in the past, he should keep it by either giving the best coaching or leaving for good.

Are you focused on the list or on results?

Keshi has been producing result irrespective of his list. His wack list won us afcon, qualified us for WC, reached the second round, won a silver at the chan despie having agbim at the goalie, won the catalonia cup.

See them, ungrateful fans cheesy

In recent past we've been having 'big-man footbalism' zero result, now that we are back on scene you are crying fowl.

Incase you can read the game, Keshi has actually fixed a very big gulf in this team by inviting raheem lawal and by the return of babatunde. Castigate him if he doesnt beat sudan home and away. cheesy
After the World Cup qualifiers, Keshi's result kept gowing down.
Our last 10 games is enough to describe Keshi.
I m not after players list. He's free to call up anybody. But when he gives us poor results like the one against Congo, we ll question his selection policy!
