~Lady~:

how can a rover be called poor man's jaguar? it's more expensive than jaguars. all the celebrities must be really poor in the US. bcus they own rovers.

Wow. So, celebrities determine what cars are expensive?  undecided
They're American celebrities, so it'll be a novelty for them, same way some American cars which are considered no good by the Americans, are seen as quite fashionable by the British.

Rovers have never been more expensive than Jaguars, in any part of the world.

Rover's are cheap trash, they were rubbish before Rover went bust in 2004, and today, there are still Rover 75's that remain unsold since the demise of the Rover Group.

Now, they can't even give the cars away!  grin

And no, I'm not speaking from a "on the sidelines" perspective.
I'm speaking from the perspective of an engineer, who's had his fair share of customers, with Rover K-series engines that have needed rebuilding.  wink

Siena, I guess the Guy mistook Rover for Range Rover ( Land Rover ), some folks never heard about Rover as a Brand Name different from the British Land Rovers lol

RANGE ROVER = H.S.E / BECKHAM / ESSIEN

this is not amusing.

RANGE ROVER is simply called 'THE RANGE'.

This is not for everyone, only for VERY BIG BOYS

I enjoy the look on 'Police faces' when the stop me and say: The Range.
