Both are important. However, I believe that having a female child as the first child makes life easy for mothers as females are generally known to help in bringing up their younger siblings later when they arrive. |

whichever comes first is still very welcomed, na person still dey wait for pikin after decades of marriage. though l think a female child being the first tends to help the parents in looking after the younger ones from a younger age. |
