Chosen Our Leaders –
Sultan
The Sultan of Sokoto and
President General,
Nigerian Supreme
Council for Islamic
Affairs, (NSCIA)
Muhammad Sa’ad
Abubakar 111, has said
that irrespective of who
becomes the next
president and other elective positions, God has already
chosen leaders who will emerge victorious in 2015.
The sultan spoke in Sokoto yesterday while
commissioning the newly built Holy Family Mother and
Child Clinic by the Catholic Diocese o Sokoto at Gidan
Dare area of the metropolis.
According to the revered royal father, it is noteworthy
that people are getting anxious over who gets what in
2015.
He said, “God has already chosen who is going to be
our leader, but we do not know it because we are mere
mortals. Therefore, advise you children never to allow
themselves to be used by anybody to cause trouble in
2015.
“Leave the rest to God. Put your trust in God. 2015 is
coming, do not allow yourselves to be used by
politicians to commit violent crimes in the name of
campaign. We make so much noise because we don’t
know anything”.
The sultan further disclosed that his presence at the
commissioning was to prove a point to Nigerians and
the world at large that sickness knows no religion hence
his readiness to be in any of such events that could
help contribute to the well-being of humanity in any
giving society.
He said, “This programme is very important because
health is wealth.If you are not healthy, you cannot even
worship God Almighty. You will be bed ridden. Without
health, you cannot even enjoy life even if you are giving
the whole good things of the world.
Speaking earlier, Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Dioceses,
Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah thanked the sultan for
his physical presence without sending a representation,
just as he said, Sultan is bridge builder across religion.
On his part, Delta State governor Emmanuel Uduagham
stated that Sultan’s presence speaks volume and and
demonstrates his quest for the unity of the country.

Chuksemi: Well, here in Russia, we don't have sultans. So this is quite strange.
