please n please my brothers n sisters,,,, someone told me it's haraam (forbidden ) to wear/exchange engagement rings on a wedding day |

The sharia allows wearing of rings for both male and female provided it ain't gold. But using of rings on wedding day which people now see as one of the criteria for wedding/Nikkah, there's no evidence for this. This one of the things some Muslims copied from the unbelievers which is not supposed to be so. But there is nothing wrong if the husband decided to give his a 'ring' as a gift.
