why do some nigerian discourge people from using volkswagen golf4 model 1999/2002.i was with my boss dis aftermoon i told him that my next car will be golf4 1999/2000,i was still talking when my boss just said "i hate that car,the car na useless car dont even buy it"i was shocked and confused.i asked three people they said the same thing.one even said the automatic gear with 2.0 engine is the worst of all.i kindly went on to ask my formal mechanic who repairs volkswagen cars,He was begging me not to buy the golf4.all were complaining about electrical issues.pls what is wrong with the car?i need to knw

I love that car, I just don't understand why nigerians hate it. I believe it has to do with the nigerian attitude of abusing a car's electrical and mechanical system, German cars don't take that sh*t. i'm planning on selling my 94 civic and getting a mk 4. My only obstacle right now is the funds, i'm not sure my budget can get me a good one. If I can't get the mk 4, I will get the mk 3 (again.... I drove one for 2 yrs).
