carefreewannabe: I am surprised that a feminist is cleaning, shopping and cooking just because her man is coming over. Doesn't he have hands? Can't he do it himself? Your actions doesn't sound like what you advise other women to do. 1 Like |

Re: Quotes By Famous Feminist Speakers by bukatyne(f): 12:51pm On Oct 02, 2014 |
Nashville: How does believing men and women are equal translate to not cooking or cleaning? Does cooking and cleaning make a woman inferior? Does driving wifey around make a man inferior? Does bathing the kids makes the parents inferior? If your friend is coming over (same age, same net worth, same build i.e. you are equals) is coming over, will you not try to put your house in order and arrange entertainment for your friend? Does that suddenly diminish your worth in your friend's eyes? We were taught in sunday school and by parents years ago that hospitality is one of the attributes of a true Christian Don't confuse lack of home training and manners with feminism |

shizzle11: she is not a feministSounds like one, types like one, aggressive like one, never accepting her wrong even when it's clear - like one...and most of all, supports the eradication of gender roles. I'm sorry but I'd rather she say she isn't one herself...you know, for posterity sake carefreewannabe has admitted she does not support doing away with 'traditional' gender roles, I typed this again for posterity sake. cococandy and bukatyne don't know what wave of feminism they belong to...typed again for posterity sake. 2 Likes |

carefreewannabe:This is just one of many examples on the web, there are others...you can check them out if you want to… Pseudo Feminism False or fake feminism. When Women act or say they are self sufficient and don't need Men for happiness. Also striving for equal rights and equal standing. Basically being independent from Men's help and becoming self sufficient, yet not dismissing the social perks. Which if they did, would make them truly self sufficient. Note: I am NOT saying that Women have no social disadvantages and that Men have no social advantages. Female: I'm not going to have sex right now, I don't want to. I should not be treated as an object because I am a Woman. I am going to be strong, I don't need any help from Men to be happy. Male: Ok. I think that is good. Female: Good, hold my bags and come shopping with me, and my birthday is coming up, buy me a gift. $500 minimum. Male: Cut the Pseudo-Feminism crap. 2 Likes |
