In this thick jungle I am lost
In a world of violence adorned with lust
Where for what you buy not you pay the cost
And innocent faces conceal devious thoughts

In this heavy rain, I feel so cold
Confused on which to take among numerous roads
The silent cries of both the young and old
Dancing to fate’s drum for purposes unknown

Amidst the turbulent wave, I shudder
For the fear of the unknown, I bother
Words unknown to anyone I gently mutter
As the cloud assent with a mighty thunder

Under this scorching sun I soberly sweat
From the womb to destination unknown yet
Tomorrow we forget we might wake dead
For the certainty of seeing the day we’ve placed a bet

Under the dark sky we dream so bright
We long to be rich that we have no dime
To the essence of life we lend no time
As life slowly fades like the tobacco in a pipe

In this ocean of reality I gently sail
The footprint of destiny I humbly trail
We may not win but no one must fail
For our end, many will definitely wail
Yet, with our strives generations must come to hail

In the world of imagination I met reality
He gave me everything, yet concedes they are nothing
