Please I am in a dilemma and need help. I have 1.2m to spend on a fresh vehicle as the one I am riding has kaput. I have received offers for a 2003 ford explorer, a Nissan xtera 2004 and a Lexus 300 SUV. Am very confused at which one to choose. Any help pls?

Xterra is the rugged beast 4x4 is best for off road and rough terrain but the inside is boring

The ford explorer should only be bought if you don't want something common but run away from the V8 engine there is one in my area that visits the mechanic often.

I heard our mechanics don't know much about the ford explorer.

With your budget,the RX is definitely off your radar sir except if you are settling for a naija used.You can get the xterra of the very early 2000 though.Not conversant with the cost of the Ford.

I'm being offered the rx300 red light for 1.4m if which I can raise the money but I'm wondering if it is worth it.
Ford SUV/jeep are cheaper, offering 850k and meeeen I love the bodywork but I heard it has no mechanic. Forgive me pls am a novice in this area and I just want to know which would be the best option.

Lexus all the way for me.The RX is just another Toyota Highlander with different body and trappings. I own one(2002 model) and its been a really wonderful experience so far. Drives like a jet. Parts are also readily available but I quite agree that it's a bit expensive cos they in high demand. The Xterra is cheaper,strong and rugged with less appeal beauty wise. Don't really know much about the Ford but with the advent of OBD machines in Nigeria,there shouldn't be much stress in maintaining any vehicle.

Anything Toyota or Lexus... Good to go
