Boko Haram menance in MICHIKA is worsed than what is read on papers & on Nairaland. Families are displaced, means of lively hood & bussiness are distroyed or taken over by BH.

Am from Michika, my entire family of over 50 people (aged parents brothers with their wives & children, sisters with their children too & others) all ran away from the town just like other famlies too. In fact about 10 of them are putting up with me in a town where I leave. Also about 30 are with my sister far away at Baruwa (800 km) from Michika at Taraba state. The are at Mubi. Ours are the lucky ones as other displaced people are rooming around in neighbouring towns & villages. Some people have gone into begging for survival. In fact all the towns taken over by BH are experiencing same or wosrt situations.

The recently towns & villages taken away by BH are Gwoza, Madagali, Gulak, Shuwa, Mayowadu, Michika, Garta, Kuburshosho, Kamale, Za, Futudou & Bazza. They stopped at Bazza because of Military presence at Vintim (home town to CDS Alex Bade) which is just 20km away from Bazza.

Honestly people are terribly sorrofully & desperate situation. We are praying for the military to come into these towns and drive away or kill them & take the towns & villages back, to enable us go back. We all been hearing the government is preparing to so. So let the govt do that soonest.

If I was told 3 years ago terrorists would seize open territories in Nigeria, I would never have believed it. I wish our armed forces would quickly make up their mind and crush this uprising once and for all as some people are beginning to suspect our armed forces to be playing the role of an accomplice in this wanton killings.
