OGUN 2015: The Battle Is On

There is no need of telescope to foresee what could happen in Ogun State comes 2015 gubernatorial election.

Ever since inception of APC as ruling party in Ogun State, there has been internal crisis that led to two factions of ruling Governor Amosun called SIA group and former Governor Osoba's group. Of several cases has it been reported that the Awujale of Ijebuland tried to amicably appease to the two sides but all to no avail. Eventually, the deputy governor Adesegun, former Governor Osoba, Senator Kaka and others departed from APC to form a new party- AGN.

AGN-Action Group of Nigeria had their first official meeting on thursday in Ijebu Ode where current deputy governor of the State was assuring all members that comes 2015 they shall take the political dominion of ogun state. He said they've applied and submitted all required documents for iNEC registration of their party four months ago. He further brainwashed the members to go out and canvass for AGN as true party with original ideology of Awolowo.

Meanwhile, all efforts are on course as different political parties in Ogun State are promising their members heaven and earth to rule comes 2015. During last Southwest PDP meeting held at their southwest office in Ijebu Igbo, PDP leaders debunked the rumour of PDP merging with Labour Party to overthrow the ruling government. They claim to be enough for themselves with federal backing to take over from Gov Amosun.

As the struggle continues, it dawns on OGD, the former Governor Gbenga Daniel as his political fate is hung dangling with pendulum of which political party to adopt him achieve his 2015 ambition. OGD decamped from PDP to form PPN before 2011 election due to political misunderstanding that erupted between him and former president Obasanjo. Eventually, the split that occurred gave APC chance to win the 2011 guber election. OGD is set for Senatorial ambition but it's becoming conspicious that he is not emerging from the political party he singlehandedly formed (PPN).

As it is believed that what goes round comes round, APC is presently facing same crisis that rocked PDP and a new party AGN is birth. With the new party, the ruling party in Ogun is divided. But would that be opportuniy for PDP to recapture Ogun?

Conclusively, the battle line is drawn as APC, PDP, LP, AGN, PPN are rolling out drums for the electorates to dance. The Ogun 2015 guber election is beginning to show a sign of do-or-die bravity as lots of murder, kidnapping and violences have started manifesting among the politicians.

Buruji Kasham holds PDP Umbrella shadding his people,
Gbenga Daniel carries Labour Party corns to feed his people'
Osoba pilots the new AGN with AWO jet,
Gov Amosun holds broom laughing with APC to sweep them all into canal.

In OGUN, 2015 decides
