Words cannot paint exactly
what i feel in the depths of my heart
sobriety has become an alibi of my being
my thoughts bottled up
in the confines of my imagination.
Coyly i gaze into the shadows
watching the fireflies glow
piercing the darkness in my soul.
seemingly lost in this solitude of my perveted
happiness.
I wonder when my moment in the sun shall
come.
