like a moon he roamed about,
thinking how but yesterday,
he held her
how she was so inclined to his emraces,
he thought then,
there was no tomorrow
little did he know,
what tomorrow had in store for him
he nutured her through her continuing breathing,
with the hope that,
fate will smile on her.
daily, he watched her,
struggling with life's entanglement without overcoming
daily,
did his hope rise
but,
one fateless dawn did he arose,
to see his love one
