This is to inform the general public that online sale of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Postgraduate application forms for the 2014/2015 Academic Session commences on Wednesday, 05 November 2014.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of 21 part- time degree programmes for Bayero University, effective from 2014/2015 academic session. A letter dated 2nd October, 2014 with reference No. NUC/DESO/F07/VOL.1/5 signed by Dr G. B. Kumo, Director, Academic Standards Department of the National Universities Commission stated that all the programmes should bear only the approved titles and nomenclatures as such any change requires re-approval of the Commission.

God help me....now given admission into BUK to study electrical engineering.I just choose d schl dunno anything abt it @ all...now my friend are naking guest dat am going to a riot school,so sentiment for d fact dat am even a xtian,start saying a lot disgusting words...all abt to convince me now...pls advice me...hope BUK hostels are a little bit save am just convince just advice me pls as ur brother....ASAP

Anulux, BUK is not the only school in Nigeria with riot tendencies, don't be afraid of whatever your friends might be saying. God has blessed you with admission. I'm sure He knows what's best for you. Trust Him and be happy for your success. If you stay close to Him, stay security conscious, then you'll be safe. Besides, BUK is not really a riot school, your friends are probably saying that because of Boko Haram in the north. The hostel, moreover is safe. Don't mind them, jare. Congrats.

Anulux, Just go for it we only get one opportunity, do what you are suppose todo. Beside your are a Nigerian you have every right to study in any university. I'm a Muslim from kano and we lived peacefully with all other religions. Just study and achieved your dreams. Congratulations, i'm also a fresh student to study physics.
