This is to inform interested members of the public that Information And Communication Technology Centre(ICT), F.U.T Minna is offering the following programmes/courses.

The Centre is currently running four different certificate programmes as follows:

Certificate Course in Basic Computer Usage (This is a 6-week course designed for people with little or no computer knowledge).


Intermediate Certificate Course in Basic Computer Usage (This is a 3-month course designed for people who need advanced level knowledge in the use of computers. Such persons should already have basic computer knowledge).


Certificate Course in Basic Computer Networking. (This is a 6-week course designed for people who already have basic computer knowledge but are interested in knowing how to connect a computer to a network, do basic configuration and trouble shooting).


Intermediate Certificate Course in Basic Computer Networking (This is a 3-month course designed for people who want to have an advanced knowledge in Computer Networking. Such persons should already have basic knowledge in computer networking).
The ICT Centre is also planning to run 2-year diploma courses equivalent to diploma programmes in Polytechnics. Entry requirements for the programmes will be published soon after ratification by the University Management.

CISCO NETWORKING AND IT ESSENTIALS TRAINING

The Centre is about to open FUT Minna CISCO Academy at the Bosso Campus. The Following courses will be available:

CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
IT Essentials
Interested candidates should obtain the application form at the cost of One thousand five hundred naira (N1, 500) each from the Cash Office of Bursary Department, Bosso Campus

Candidates are expected to fill their course of chioce (any one from the above listed programmes/courses) after obtaining the form.

Completed application form should be submited to the Secretary, I.C.T Centre, Gidan Kwano Campus.

A special arrangement is been made to accommodate interested students of the University.
