Pakistani child education activist Malala Yousafzai and Indian child rights activist Kailash Satyarthi have won the Nobel Peace Prize.

At 17, Malala is the youngest recipient of the prize.

The teenager was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen in October 2012 for campaigning for girls’ education.

The Nobel committee said the pair were awarded the prize “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people”.

Mr Satyarthi, 60, has maintained the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi and headed various forms of peaceful protests, “focusing on the grave exploitation of children for financial gain,” the committee said.

This year’s record number of 278 nominees included Pope Francis and Congolese gynaecologist Denis Mukwege, although the full list was kept a secret.

I'm really happy for her. This is a giant middle finger to all those islamofascist scumbags trying to drag the world back to the 7th century. You can fight progress, but you can never win.

From Anthony Cartalucci:

Did you know Malala Yousafzai was a creation of the BBC? I didn't. This is what I learned...

A colleague working on an upcoming article just informed me that Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai was prodded into writing by the BBC. Yes, to sell news to their Pakistani readers and to sell Western propaganda in the process, they intentionally, knowingly, and very insidiously endangered this young girl's life who ultimately ended up getting shot and nearly killed.

http://world.time.com/2012/10/23/pakistani-heroine-how-malala-yousafzai-emerged-from-anonymity/

TIME would admit: " in late 2008, when Khan [BBC Urdu service] and his colleagues had discussed a novel way of covering the Taliban’s growing influence in Swat: Why not find a schoolgirl to blog anonymously about her life there? Their correspondent in Peshawar, Abdul Hai Kakar, had been in touch with a local schoolteacher, Ziauddin Yousafzai, but couldn’t find any students willing to do it. It was too dangerous, their families said. Finally, Yousafzai suggested his own daughter, 11-year-old Malala......."

Anonymous bloggers - "Gay Girl in Damascus?" "Syria Danny?"

Now these manipulators that prodded her into this "activism," are riding along like parasites on her fame. Surely this 17 year old sitting in the White House where the Taliban was armed and backed during the 1980's when the US was fighting to DESTROY progress made toward women's rights and education in its spiteful contest with the Soviet Union, is being emotionally overwhelmed. She surely believes she is doing the "right" thing, after all, you wouldn't get an "award" if you were doing something bad or misguided. And this is how a loyal, passionate cog is fabricated and placed into the greater machine.

This is how the system works - like Napoleon figured out - instead of paying his soldiers, he gave them medals and titles these men would eventually fight and die in order to achieve and possess. It is the exploitation of human nature and weakness perfected. And if you think somehow they are not capable of manipulating, exploiting, and nearly sending to her death a young girl, think again. They do it weekly, sometimes daily with their drone strikes, killing Malala's contemporaries by the dozens!

I truly feel sorry for Malala Yousafzai, because she is still brave, intelligent, and talented, no matter who is manipulating her and to what devious end. She is, at the end of the day, a young girl, and yet another victim of this conflict and in particular, a victim of the same cretins who put the Taliban in power in the 1980s and have meddled in Afghan-Pakistani affairs for decades.
