Mich blindly drove to the hospital. she was tired, hungry and didn't know where to go to. She drove into the parking lot and alight from the car with her hand bag. Once in the hospital, she walked towards Joel's ward and opened the room to find him gone. She became instantly scared so she walked to Doctor Joshua's office.
'Come in', he called in.
She entered the office and sat down. He saw her and was alarmed at the look in her voice.
'Michelle, you should be resting'
'Doctor, I can't find my husband in his room'
'Oh, your father didn't tell you?'
'What?'
'He had been moved to a private room'
She sighed. 'Is he in this hospital?'
'Yea, I would love to take you to him but you are tired'
'Please take me to him', she said in tears.
'Okay, but it will be for a few minutes'
'Thank you'
He led her up the stairs to another wing in the hospital. He pushed a door opened and she entered. Joel was sleeping on a very comfortable bed. He left her with Joel. Mich walked to the bed and stared at him.
'Joel, I'm all alone now. I have no where to go. Please get well soon'
She sat down on a cushion and held his hands. The hurtful words Jordan and Tara told her made her start crying again. Her cry woke him up.
'Mich', he whispered
She looked up at him.
'What are you doing here? Its dangerous for you. Please go home'
'I have no where to go Joel'
She was crying and was finding it difficult to talk. Joel helplessly watched her and cursed his wounds.
'Come and lie down with me'
She stood up, removed her sandals and climbed in. She silently thanked her father for the bed. Soon, she began to hiccuped
And then fell asleep. Joel wanted to move but his back hurt him so much he couldn't move. Whatever the problem was he didn't know. A few minutes later, the door opened and Doctor Joshua and Jeremy walked in. The two looked in surprise at her.
'Surely Joel, you know this is not allowed. She might mistakenly touch your wound'
'Hush, don't wake her. I don't know the problem is but she had been crying before finally sleeping off'
'Joel, how you?'
'Jeremy, thanks for coming'
'No Joel, she can't spend the night here. You know that. She should come in tomorrow'
Mich came awake. She looked around the room.
'I should properly go home', she said and then remembered that she can't go home. The tears began flowing slowly.
'Mich what is it?', Jeremy asked her. I can help'
'Okay'
She lightly kissed Joel on the lips and followed the nurse that came to send them away. Outside the room, she fell dizzy and fell down. She was rushed to the emergency unit.
'She is pregnant you know', Joshua told Jeremy.
'Wow'
Later, she was discharged. Jeremy was about taking her home but she refused.
'Why?'
'I'm having problems with my family'
'Where will you go to now?'
'I have Joel's ATM card with me. I'm gonna just pay for a room'
'I won't let you. why don't you come home with me? After all, you are my best friend's wife'
'Your wife dislike me'
'Just forget about her'
'Okay, thanks'
Better to be with Jeremy than either Tara or Jordan. Jeremy took her suitcase to his car. She simply went back to the hospital and left her father's key in Joshua's office. She had made her decision and damn the consequences.

Tara packed a suitcase and called a maid to take it downstairs while she quickly showered and wore a silver dress. descended the stairs, she met her Alice.
'Mother, I'm leaving. I can't ever forgive Jordan for what he did to me'
'Where are you going to?'
'Don't know for now'
'What about Eugene and Shan?'
'I will come for them once I'm settled'
'Tara, you've really changed'
'Yes, all thanks to Jordan and Mich'
'Its dangerous out there'
'I don't care'
'What is happening here?', Edward Nicholas said from the doorway. There was silence in the room.
'Is someone traveling?'
'Father, I'm tired of this marriage'
'So?'
'I am leaving'
Edward Nicholas was tired and hungry yet he was just staring at his daughter-in-law.
'Where is Jordan?'
'I don't know'
'Go back upstairs Tara, I won't let you leave this house when you are pregnant and its getting dark'
'I can take of my self'
'Tara, did I just told you to go upstairs?'
'Father I...'
'Don't you ever think you can argue with me young lady. Go to your room'
'On one condition'
Edward stared harder. Was she insane? She had never talked to him like that. What was happening?
'What?'
'I can't stay in the same room with Jordan. I want my own room'
'Had it come to this?'
'Yes and at the right time I will leave'
'Go upstairs Tara, I am so tired right now'
She slowly went away silently cursing her lateness in going. Edward sat next to his wife.
'What is happening?'
'I too don't know but Mich was involved'
'Call Mich for me'
'Mich is not here'
'What are you saying?'
'She and Tara exchanged heated words. Tara said Mich is coming between she and Mich and there was something about a movie, She packed a suitcase and left. Said she can't live in the same house with Tara'
'Oh God, what in the hell is Jordan doing?'
'Forget Jordan for now, I don't know what went on between the three but at the moment, he is angry with everyone'
'Oh. Lord'
'Its time Justine and Sarah come back home. Wr think this family is perfect? Its not. Our children have dirty secrets they have been hiding and we need to find Mich'
Edward dialed Justine's phone number.
'Hello?'
'Justine, I want you here in Abuja first thing tomorrow morning with Sarah'
'What is the problem?'
'You've been running from this family's responsibilities far too long, leaving Jordan to shoulder everything. Its time you share this responsibilities with him'
'But father...'
'Don't but me Justine', He cut the phone. Edward was confused. He called Doctor Joshua.
'Did my daughter came to the hospital?'
'Yea, she left, thirty minutes ago'
'Thank you'

Why blame everything on the pregnancy? I mean, Tara has always been a naive fellow, who doesn't know the basics of marriage. Jordan on the other hand who is damn stubborn is trying to handle situations but Tara won't just see that and help out.
