Well the way I see it, it's like buying phones actually. Those buying those very cheap laptops are forced to upgrade every year because the hardware can't keep up. A gaming rig has hardware that will stay relevant at least 3 years post production. Na to close eye buy better one. The money will still be spent on laptops so why not just buy a great one and relax once?

It will play it on low settings at 720p. Anything higher and your frame rates will be terrible.

This config wouldn't help you that much, especially the core i3 CPU and the intel HD graphics. I'd rather you went for something with at least a core i5 CPU, and a decent GPU. Sadly though, you can only afford fairly used core i5 or core i7 laptops with your stated budget.

I guess you have a point there. I've not tried using two seperate pads with xbox360ce but unless there's a limitation in the software, using two pads should be pretty straight forward.
