the above is the characteristic of ibos- they abandon their own problems and talk about other people's. Abia state is there begging for redemption, yet this ibo man feels now is the time to ridicule osun. Well, thanks for reminding our governors what their duty should be.

PS: I'm an Abian¡¡

If I may educate you, you don't understand the indices of devlpt. If Abia isn't a state then there are no states in Nigeria.

I've been to 25 of Nigeria's 36 states, and only few can compare to Abia. As am typing now I'm in Abeokuta. Apart from the industrial clusters around Ota, Ewekoro, and Ifo, the whole place is a big slum.

Umuahia is one of the neatest state capitals, with streets fashioned after French, Dutch and German inner city patterns. Abiriba, Arochukwu and Igbere are medium towns with fine roads and houses comparable only to those in Maitama, Abuja and European cities. Aba is an industrial hub but lacks adequate sewage system, refuse mgt and road networks.

Abians are highly skilled and informed with good tastes for themselves without govt intervention. So where did you visit in Abia and how do you rate devlpt?

Agreed that there low govt intervention in Abia but the state will still be judged a more asthetically and environmentally friendly place to live than say Kogi, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Oyo, parts of Lagos, Rivers, Ebonyi, Yobe, etc.

Talking from experience though.

Most of the igbos who have been here in the SW are as a result of the nature of jobs our parents where into.....there are many states in the east that even most SWners would go to and won't want to come back.......wonder what the big deal is about SW.....was born here, schooled here......and the only state I can live which is habitable is lagos......
