today.. Today's recipe is Shawarma..
Shawarma is a staple lebanese fast food snack
that is very
popular in Nigeria.
FOR THE SHAWARMA
3 wraps of Lebanese
bread For Chicken
Shawarma
i
A little bit of crisp
lettuce, tomatoes,
pickles and onion rings
i
100g Smoked/ Grilled/
Roasted skinless chicken
or beef
Desired Sauce
FOR THE SAUCE
Option A: Tahini sauce + few drops of lemon juice +
water
Option B: Yoghurt and garlic sauce mix
Option C: Mayonnaise and garlic sauce mix
Option D: 4 tbsp of Salad cream + 2 tbsp of Mustard
+2 tbsp of
Tabasco sauce
MAKE THE SHAWARMA
Lay the bread wrap on a
clean surface i
Nicely arrange the vegetables
and chicken at one edge i
Garnish with a little of the
sauces available i
Fold the wrap from there to
the other end i
Put under a sandwich toaster
for about 1 minute (optional) i
Remove from heat and serve
