Reports filtering into FNN states that
foremost Nigerian Private University,
Covenant University, Ota as of today
effected the expulsion of 10 female
students.
Enquirer into this disciplinary action
disclosed that the female students were
suspended for participating in the
“National No Bra day” in a bid to create
awareness for Breast cancer.
The siege which took place yesterday saw
females across the world going about
their normal business of the day without
putting on their usual undergarments,
also created a buzz in the internet and
social media sites like Facebook, Twitter
and Instagram with trending pictures of
girls showing their outfits without bra
and in some cases nude pics proving
their support to the cause with hashtags
like #NoBraDay #NoBraDay14 #Oct13
amongst others.
As with the case of Covenant University
who had always had strict laws with
regards to indecent dressing, the said
girls attended classes without their bras,
revealing the shape and size of their
bosom and teats. And were subsequently
reported to the school authorities by
their lecturers who claimed the girls
distracted them and the male students in
class whom are not used to seeing such,
hence the lecture of the day wasn’t
delivered as usual because of lack of
concentration.
Although we at FNN did not see the
outfits of the students, we believe this
might be too severe a punishment for
participating in a social cause. However
the disciplinary committee has told the
girls to come dressed in the said “no bra”
attire to appeal their expulsion, citing
that since the university students are not
allowed to use mobile phones, they were
no selfies or any pictorial evidence of
their outfits from yesterday to use for the
appeal.

What were they up to? They should have known the consequence afterall it is a christian institution where indecent dressing can be tolerated but to some level.
