The Police in Bauchi State, on Monday, disclosed that they arrested a 20-year-old man in Ningi, the headquarters of Ningi Local Government Area of the state for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 16-month-old baby. According to the Nigerian tribune,the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Haruna Mohammed sent out a statement which read .... “On Sunday, October 19, at about 6.00 a.m., police detectives attached to Ningi Area Command arrested one, Annas Adamu, male and 20-year-old of Stadium road, Ningi Local Government Area.The suspect had unlawful carnal knowledge of his neighbour’s daughter, a 16-month-old baby, inside his matrimonial bedroom,” the PPRO said in the statement.
