My 2 1/2 year old son have refused to eat, before now me and my wife have tried different type of food and discovered he likes Golden Morn more but just recently he started refusing golden morn and its pains me to see him go lean. Infact he doesn't really like eaten food

Kids go through phases. Take him to a pediatrician. Once they have ruled out any serious issues you just leave him. He will not starve himself. Once he is hungry, he will eat. i found out that prolonging the time between meals made my kids more hungry at mealtime. He might just be going through a growth and developmental spurt.

Also, you can put on his favorite cartoon or song during mealtime. It keeps my boys so quiet that they don't even know when they have finished their beans and other such food that they don't like.

Does he like liquids? Kids are resilient you know. If he likes beverages, try those without too much sugar. Surprisingly, too much sugar kills appetite. He may also like fruits. some fruits are filling and nutritious. Try non spicy foods like plain eggs scrambled too. You can further enrich the scramble eggs(if he likes it) with milk or cheese.

Just keep trying any and everything till he accepts one. Dont forget too that he may become bored after a while(who wouldnt after eating one staple everytime). Dont be too anxious.Kids can tell if you are worried and they can hang on that and suspect there is a serious problem with them. All the best
