Wow! That's amazing.

Meanwhile, the draws for the 2015 FIFA Women's WC will be held on December 6 in Canada. The seeding details aren't out yet.

Is it 16 countries or 24 that will qualify for the tournament?

tell this to Amodu....we need dead ball specialists

Let's stop making this mistake. The senior team is not where you learn how to take free-kicks and corners. You perfect that at club level where you train almost every day of the week.. How many days will they spend with Amodu?

In Canada, Dede will start in goal, and Courtney would also start in the attack. I agree that the transition from midfield to attack could be improved a bit - releasing the ball at the right is important in world cups.

So far, though, I'm impressed with their work rate whenever the opponents have possession in Nigeria's half.
I totally agree with U on the teams work rate. The defensive abilities of our attackers needs to be appreciated, they really provided back up for the team defensively and allow the midfielders time to settle and get behind the opponents each time the ball was lost.
Kudos to Ordega, Oshoala, Oparanozie for always tracking back to assist the defence.

Finishing touches, few additions, corrections to mistakes, early preparations and grade A friendlies with God on our side, will surely see the Falcons surpass their previous performances at the world stage come 2015 in Canada. God Bless Nigeria.

It's 24 countries. Therefore, for the first time ever, there will be a Round of 16, before the quarter finals.

Whao. That means there will be a chance for four 3rd placed teams to qualify from the group stage.

Surely that's a good chance for Nigeria to qualify out of the group stages, regardless of how tough the group is.

Nigeria crowned both male and female champions, the falcons will be looking good to defend their title in Cameroon 2016, but the big question is " will the male team qualify to defend their title in Morocco 2015"?
Let's wait and see as we continue to celebrate the champions of Africa, the Super Falcons.

God Bless Our Teams, God Bless Nigeria.

Yeah, there will be no excuse for the Super Falcons not to qualify for the Round of 16.

hopefully things will continue to change for the best... Those girls really deserved everything if not double of what our male team have enjoyed and being enjoying.

That's exactly the point bro. Our players, both foreign and home based need to develop themselves at club level and consistently show that they can be relied upon to take set pieces. Expecting the national team coach to develop that part of their game is not realistic.

I can't think of any Nigerian player that is the designated set-piece taker for his club in Europe since Okocha quit Bolton.
