I'm currently in Abuja. Kebbi is very far, about 8 hours... I'm still planning.

I also got too.but mine is on the 5th of November.Pls does anyone know if the state is safe?in terms of boko haram issues....

Trust me, it's one of d safest states in d north. I worked there for a year and half. Cost of living is very very cheap.

U can try to google search d vacancy advert and see what I mean. Althou federal uni is a nice place to b, buh does contract or tenure job really worth it except dey mean dey'l later permanent one afta few yrs of service lyk some oda fed uni... Experienced pple shud help oooo

I don make up my mind of going o, won't wana joke wit a golden chance lyk dis. Jus dt, I'm avin d issue of distance and plans 4 accommodation. All d way frm Ilorin

There is no 2ways to it dan d normal way of
interviews. U will b ask 2 introduce ursef, why u choose to work for dem not minding d distance. If u av M.Sc u will be ask to introduce ur m.sc dissertation to dem and dey will ask u ur intend area of specialization and few question on d said area. Lastly dem might ask for ur plans as a research fellow and wen u intend registering for ur Phd or why u av not register. The question are not much dey just want to see u n examine ur physical person n 2 see if u av d charisma. It is more of interaction btw u and dem, just try to be compose cos dat is d characteristics of a lecture.

Yes I think u shld wait cos must pple dat av received d msg r pple dat applied for lecturing post and most of d tym dey invite teaching staffs 1st b4 non-teaching so dis might also b d case here.

I am also going though coming from Lagos. Ilorin is more closer than Lagos. Just take kontagora bus from ilorin and from Kontagora board bus going to benin kebbi. The temporary site is along the way.

I feel it wuld be easier for you to board a bus from Lagos to Sokoto (overnight journey). I tink d buses leave Lagos around noon to arrive sokoto d following morning. Then you join another bus to birnin Kebbi (about two and half hours journey).
There's a nice hotel in town FABS international hotel (6k per night as Oct last year).

Must someone have to get to sokoto first before getting to kebbi. Someone told me that one can alight at Kebbi on the way to Sokoto.

Dats very true, it just occurred to me. Yes you can alight at Jega town, about like 20mins drive to Birnin Kebbi, Cos I doubt if d buses pass thru d main town of birnin Kebbi before getting to sokoto. D follow like a bye-pass to sokoto from dat Jega town.
