Responsibilities:
The Marketing Strategist creates and grows partnerships with local small-to-medium-sized businesses focused on beauty, health and lifestyle services in his/her designated territory. This person researches potential partners, does heavy prospecting (via cold calling), and negotiates with prospective business partners to create deals and promotions that will be marketed as either Golden Key Loot, within the Golden Key online appointment booking technology, or both. Golden Key business partners (and Marketing Strategists) are most successful when marketing services on both Golden Key online appointment booking and Golden Key Loot platforms.

We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with others in a fast-paced, yet casual and respectful, environment. The candidate should be able to demonstrate previous success in at least one sales position, and be confident making cold calls and closing deals via the phone.
Position Description
Responsible for the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives, provide pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributor, and resellers, and support public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases.
General Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing MPS&A’s entire content portfolio including print and digital content directed externally to customers and sales prospects
• Ensures consistent voice and tone throughout MPS&A’s content portfolio
• Research and make recommendations for new topics and content based on trends within MPS&A’s competitive landscape
• Maintain a macro view of all content related to Golden Key corporate brand
• Work with marketing leadership to identify the most appropriate methods for distributing digital and print media content to customers, sales prospects and other key stakeholders
• Research and write content for online and offline marketing deliverables such as customer and product brochures, customer testimonials, white papers, case studies, presentations, video and animation scripts and email campaigns
• Develop a strong understanding of MPS&A’s products and services to support the creation of unique content and messaging
• Gather technical information through research and Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews to develop the messaging and positioning of the company’s products and services; work with multiple business units to align complimentary solutions
• Write persuasive copy that encourages action from prospects and customers and strengthens awareness for MPS&A’s products and services
• Actively participate during project kick-off meetings, brainstorming sessions, and marketing strategy meetings

Minimum Requirements
Entry level marketing experience
SSCE, OND, HND or Bsc in any field of studies
Critical Skills
• Portfolio which showcases a variety of B2B writing examples within print and digital platforms
• 0 - 2 years of experience writing for a B2B corporate environment (agency or corporate side) using creative, technical and journalistic styles
• Possess knowledge of the different communications channels that can be used to effectively deliver information to different audiences with varied levels of access to technology
• Ability to research and gather information and interview SMEs and customers as needed
• Ability to manage projects from conception to implementation and communicate key milestones as progress is made
• Advanced copyediting and proofreading skills, as well as attention to detail
